As far as I know “Narin” in Mongolian stands for “small” whereas “kala” stands in Arabic for “castle”.
“Narikala”
therefore means “Small castle” in mixture of languages of ancient conquerors of
Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia,
stands next to the junction of rivers Aragvi and Mtkvari (
