Together with my good friend, John Avedian at the top of Mt. San Antonio (Baldy).

It is always a good feeling to be “at the top”!

On the way to Mt. Baldy Peak

Start-point of Devil’s Backbone Trail. There are still couple of miles ahead.

Mt Baldy notch – chairlift station. I would recommend to start hike from parking lot that is much lower (lower station of the chairlift). However if there are kids / females (who may not be able to endure long hikes) then one can start hike from the point where I stand.

This time I started hike from the point of the upper chairlift station. My cousin Rafo, who was visiting us this summer, accompanied me. He is a young guy but he managed to walk pretty far.

We walked much longer compared to trip with Anna. We passed start-point of Devil’s backbone trail and continued for about a mile from that point.

I am sure that when he comes to visit us again from UK, we will definitely make it to the top J

Yes, it is amazing sight from here. I recommend everybody to visit LA and hike to San Gabriel mountains!
