Tbilisi at night – the photo is taken from Narikala castle

Another photo at quiet Tbilisi night

Jvari (Cross) Monastery – was built in VI century

Legendary place on the top of the mountain - right next to the junction of rivers Aragvi and Mtkvari (Kura)

Narikala Castle guarding old district of Tbilisi.

As far as I know “Narin” in Mongolian stands for “small” whereas “kala” stands in Arabic for “castle”.

Narikala” therefore means “Small castle” in mixture of languages of ancient conquerors of Georgia.

Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia, stands next to the junction of rivers Aragvi and Mtkvari (Kura)

This photo was made from the point of Jvari Monasteri

Old Tbilisi – photo was made from Narikala castle

Ananuri castle (XVII-XVIII) – stands in very beautiful place, right next to Zhinvali lake
